Letters of Recommendation

Below please find the most important 'letter of recommendation' I can provide to you.  It heralds from one of my 2nd grade students, and in my opinion is probably one of the most heartfelt and genuine references I will ever get. It certainly means this world to me.

Professional Letters of Recommendation:

Below are letters of recommendation written by former employers and the cooperating teacher from my middle-school student-teaching placement.  Hard copies are available upon request.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to recommend Jennifer Winchester as a competent and dedicated teacher who brings a variety of skills to the job.

I have known Jennifer professionally for one year, when she was an Educational Technician in the Life Skills classroom, a program that provides services for students with moderate to severe disabilities. Jennifer is a teacher who combines both heart and mind in her work. She demonstrated the ability to prepare and deliver appropriate lessons for individual and small group work. She was equally skilled in providing the caring and supportive environment that set the stage for learning. She always conveyed to the students her strong interest in their well-being.

Jennifer’s lessons were always relevant. Frequently, she selected topics that combined current events and the student’s interests. She engaged one student in literacy activities by helping him exercise his imagination to write fantasy stories. With a recalcitrant student, she demonstrated the necessary patience to wait for his responses.

Jennifer was an active team member. Jennifer demonstrated a high level of commitment to the team objectives. She spent whatever time was needed to complete a task. She took the time to communicate directly, clearly, and honestly with other teachers, parents, and students. I believe that her ability to devote herself to her work will contribute to Jennifer’s success as a teacher.

Please feel free to contact me for any further information.

Sincerely,
